Reptile trade show promoters seem to be developing a habit of scheduling events that overlap with holidays. Some are scheduling events a day before/after a holiday while others are stupid enough to schedule them on the holiday itself. Shows like this are doomed to fail. Attendance will be poor. Fewer vendors will be able to attend so show patrons will have fewer animals to choose from. Patrons will tend to stay away so profits for vendors will be less, too. It’s a lose-lose situation that should be avoided.
