It took me five clutches to finally hit on this vpi axanthic black pastel (in 2009). The odds were long (black pastel het axanthic x het axanthic) but it finally paid off. Praise the Lord it was a male. An axanthic super black pastel is going to be simply insane. Better still, just how black can you make a panda pied? I’m going to wager that an axanthic panda pied is going to be just that much more ridiculous.
Axanthics are tough to appreciate in photos. It’s usually only after you see them in contrast with the normal version that you get an idea of how cool they really are.
